Concrete Curbs, Gutters, and Sidewalks
The concrete around a lot fails on its own schedule and is usually what a visitor actually walks on. 1NSG Corp handles the concrete with the same crew doing the asphalt.
What we build and repair
Curbing and curb and gutter, sidewalks and walkways, ADA ramps and detectable warning surfaces, dumpster pads, equipment pads, and pedestrian islands.
Trip hazards
Displaced or heaved sidewalk sections are the most common slip and fall claim on a commercial property. We cut out and replace the failed panels rather than grinding a lip that comes back.
One contractor for the whole lot
Because we are the general contractor on the asphalt, the striping, and the concrete, the curb line and the stall layout actually meet where they should.
Ask for a walk of the property and we will mark what needs attention.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a raised sidewalk section really worth repairing now?
Displaced sidewalk panels are the most common slip and fall claim on commercial property. Correcting a trip hazard is far cheaper than the claim, and it is one of the first things a visitor physically encounters.
Why replace a panel instead of grinding the lip down?
Grinding hides the symptom. If the panel heaved because of a root or a base problem, it will lift again. Cutting out and replacing the failed panel addresses what actually moved.
Can the concrete and asphalt be done by the same crew?
Yes, and that is the point. When one general contractor handles curbing, concrete, asphalt, and striping, the curb line and stall layout actually line up instead of being coordinated across separate vendors.
Do you install ADA ramps and detectable warning surfaces?
Yes. ADA ramps, curb cuts, and detectable warning surfaces are part of our concrete scope, and because we also handle the striping and the accessible route, the ramp actually lines up with the access aisle instead of missing it.
